The Coffs Lions have proven they’re back in winning form by downing reigning premiers Maclean.

The Lions dominated the Bobcats in a complete turn-around from their previous meeting.

COFFS HARBOUR’S WEEKEND OF SPORT

Group 2 rugby league premiers, the Sawtell Panthers, have ended round three with a convincing win over Woolgoolga.

And Orara triumphed over the Macleay Valley Mustangs by 14 points.

While in North Coast Football, the Maclean Bobcats beat Woolgoolga, the Tigers roared against Sawtell and the Boambee Bombers’ trounced Northern United.

The Urunga Raiders downed Orara, while the recently promoted Yamba Breakers got a dressing down from Coffs United.

BOBCATS PREPARE FOR FIRST GRANDFINAL

The North Coast Football grand final will be the first for newcomers, the Maclean Bobcats.

They’re up against competition heavy-weights the Coffs United Lions, the only team Maclean hasn’t managed to beat since it entered the North Coast Football Zone.

LIONS TAKE FIRST SPOT IN GRAND FINAL

The year is over for the Coffs Coast Tigers,
after going down to the Urunga Raiders in North Coast Football’s minor semi final.

Meanwhile, Coffs Harbour’s other big cats, the Lions, will play for the premiership, after defeating the Maclean Bobcats in the major semi.
