ARCHITECT CHOSEN TO REVITALISE GOSFORD CITY

The revitalisation of Gosford’s Central Business District and its harbour are a step closer to reality, with an architecture firm finally chosen to carry out the work.

Cox Architects has been awarded the tender for the makeover, which is known as the Gosford Challenge.

Plans for a concert hall and new cinema complex are among more than 50 designs submitted to Gosford Council, for a revamp of the city centre.

But Mayor Chris Holstein is keeping the full details of the proposals under wraps, until a team is selected to create a masterplan.
