The New South Wales Minerals Council has hit back after the Supreme Court ruled land access agreements on the Liverpool Plains weren’t properly negotiated.
The council claims thousand of mining jobs will now be put at risk, but farmers say the council is only trying to pressure the state government into changing legislation.

A Central Coast man who miraculously survived a big scare on the F3 Freeway yesterday, has put his survival down to luck, and his late mother looking out for him.
49-year-old William Lockley was travelling south when a wayward tyre struck his windscreen.
