And just hours later at Woolgoolga, a fireman arrived at the scene of a second deadly crash, only to find the victim was his daughter.

Grafton’s heritage listed Saraton Theatre is open for business after a two-year, $6-million, renovation.
The art deco building, which was constructed by the Notaris family in 1926, is owned by the sons of the original proprietors.

A motorist has been killed and three others taken to hospital with serious injuries, after a tragic accident north of Nambucca Heads.
UTE DRIVER FLOWN TO LISMORE HOSPITAL AFTER COLLISION

The driver of the dual-cab utility was trapped for more than half an hour after his vehicle allegedly crossed to the incorrect side of the road and collided with a truck.
The man, believed to be in his 60s, was freed from the upturned utility and flown by the rescue helicopter to Lismore Base Hospital in a critical condition.
Police are seeking witnesses to the crash, which happened just after 11.30 on the Armidale Road.
