But members of the Koompahtoo community at Lake Macquarie say they’re paying the price for the actions of a few.
NO REPORTS OF DAMAGE OR INJURIES FROM QUAKE

An earthquake measurig 3.4 on the Richter Scale was felt in parts of the mid north coast in the early hours of Friday morning.
Residents from Port Stephens to Newcastle have told how they felt the earth move around 3.30am, others have told how a shudder woke them from their sleep.
The shake lasted around 10 seconds.
There have been no reports of damage or people injured.
Canberra based Kevin McCue told NBN this morning’s quake was one of three minor quakes that have been felt across New South Wales this week.

The CEO of Geelong Otway Tourism says he’s baffled Avoca Residents are protesting the scuttling of the ex-HMAS Adelaide.
The former HMAS Canberra was sunk in Victoria last year, and has attracted thousands of tourists to the area, with no immediate impact to the environment.

A Central Coast environment group says the Peninsula could wind up without any open space, if Gosford Council’s draft local environment plan is adopted.
The Community Environment Network says the document would allow new zonings, reducing the protection given to reserves.

Hundreds of nippers were participating in a training work shop, learning exactly what to do in an emergency situation.
