TWO TEENS CRITICAL AFTER SUFFERING BURNS IN LONG JETTY HOUSE FIRE

An 18-year-old man remains in police custody after a house fire at Long Jetty left two of his friends in a critical condition with extensive burns.
A Wyong Local Court judge has granted Sebastian Jones conditional bail but his family is yet to post the $600 fee to secure his release.
Police believe the blaze was caused by molotov cocktails.

Police on the Central Coast are investigating allegations of sexual assault at an aged care facility.
Two female residents of Peninsula Village at Umina, have accused two staff members of assaulting them in separate incidents.
Both employees have been sacked.

Former rugby league great Andrew Johns has paddled into the Central Coast on the second day of his journey from Newcastle to Sydney to raise money for the Black Dog Institute.
Johns was accompanied by trans-Tasman kayakers Justin Jones and James Castrission on Tuggerah Lake.

PELICAN DEATHS BLAMED ON POLLUTION IN TUGGERAH LAKES

The poor state of Tuggerah Lakes has been blamed for the deaths of five pelicans, whose remains were discovered at North Entrance.
The birds died from a paralytic illness caused by bacteria in the water.
