REPORT SHEDS LITTLE LIGHT ON FATAL CHOPPER CRASH

A report into a fatal helicopter crash last year near the Tugun bypass has shed little light on the trainee pilot’s final moments.

It’s possible the 72 year old made a wrong move, trying to get out of the path of a light plane on ascent from the runway.
