BUS DRIVER SAVES SCHOOL STUDENTS

A Hunter-region bus driver has been praised for saving a schoolbus load of children from disaster yesterday.

Ron Elworthy was driving 80 students home when two of his bus’s back wheels fell off, causing the vehicle to fishtail right next to a dam.
