PROTESTORS SHOW THEIR SUPPORT FOR HUNGER STRIKING FARMER

January 3, 2010

A bus load of angry protestors is on their way to Canberra to support farmer Peter Spencer, who’s been on a hunger strike for 42 days.

The group will arrive late tonight but has apparently been warned not to go.

Media are not really doing a good job covering Peter Spenser’s protest which has as a basis the way politicians nationally are disrespecting the Australian people. There must be many more comments than are actually making it into print. We read and post comments on this citizen’s possible terminal protest. Comments of support particularly in an issue like this when the story is the courageous Mr Peter Spenser. One thing media have not made clear to readers. Is there public access to the wind speed tower so his supporters may visit and keep a vigil with Peter Spenser? Mr Peter Spenser is really putting the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd under the pump? And Rudd’s sad assertion he will not be blackmailed by someone threatening self harm are the weasel words of someone used to avoiding the truth by any means possible. We only need look back to Rudd’s time in Queensland to understand what makes Krud tick.
