BLUEBOTTLE BATTLE AT SURFERS PARADISE

Surf Lifesavers have been kept busy, responding to a number of rescues and medical emergencies at Gold Coast beaches.

They were forced to close Surfers Paradise beach, with more than 100 swimmers stung by bluebottles.
