INVESTIGATIONS CONTINUE IN TO CHOPPER CRASH

Air transport safety investigators are still trying to find the cause of a helicopter crash on Dorrigo Mountain two days ago, which killed a National Parks Wildlife Service Ranger.

A team is examining the weather at the time of the crash, as well as any recorded data from the Bell Jet Ranger aircraft.

Investigators will be speaking to witnesses and the helicopter pilot, who is in a serious but stable condition at Coffs Harbour Hospital.
