WEDGETAILS FINALLY FLY INTO WILLIAMTOWN

After three years of frustrating delays, Australia’s first two Wedgetail surveillance aircraft have arrived at the Williamtown RAAF Base.

But they still won’t be fully operational until November next year, as their complex systems to track airborne and marine targets are being fine-tuned.
