A BONNY WIN FOR RAINBOW BEACH

Rainbow Beach at Bonny Hills has been named the winner of the Mid North Coast Clean Beach Challenge.

The popular beach won the overall prize and also picked up a second award for community partnerships and action.

Port Macquarie’s Flynns Beach and Hat Head Beach were also winners in the young legends and environmental protection categories.

Keep Australia Beautiful’s annual challenge aims to promote environmental awareness, initiative and civic pride in coastal communities.
