SANTOS SPEND UP BIG TO SCURE COAL SEAM GAS

Gas and oil producer, Santos, has announced a $476-million deal, which it says will strengthen its coal seam gas position in the northwest.

The company has acquired a large stake in Eastern Star Gas, which has been carrying out exploration in the Narrabri shire.

It’s also secured a slice of various exploration permits across the Gunnedah basin.
