Newcastle Knights’ forward Cory Paterson will play his first NRL game in 11 weeks against Melbourne tomorrow night.

Captain Kurt Gidley travelled south with the team today but is still effected by the flu.

Steve Simpson and Adam MacDougall though are definitely out.
