FORMER HMAS ADELAIDE NOW STATE GOVERNMENT PROPERTY

Concerns the scuttling of the former HMAS Adelaide may not happen, have been put to rest for the meantime, with the federal government officially handing over the frigate to the state government.

It was feared a lack of funding would prevent the project from getting off the ground.
