OVERWORKED NURSES CALL FOR FURTHER HOSPITAL FUNDING

The new emergency department at the Calvary Mater Hospital in Newcastle has only been open a couple of months, but already staff say they’re snowed under.

The Nurses’ Association has welcomed extra funding for the hospital, but fears it won’t be enough to prevent a tragedy.
