RURAL RESIDENTS TO FIGHT CHURCH DEVELOPMENT

Six months after Gosford Council approved a development application for an Exclusive Brethren church at Lisarow, a similar battle has erupted at Wamberal.

It involves the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

    I believe that we should not have this church because it would be a huge hassel for many residents.

    While this is smaking of religious descrimination, and it is most definite by precident in other communities that the Catholics and Baptists (denominations considered more mainline) wouldn’t have trouble building their churches in this community, the Seventh-day Adventist members need to make this a matter of prayer. If the property is on a flood plain, I question God’s leading to this type of area. On the other hand, if this is where God wants the church, then nothing will stop this.
