LIEUTENANT FUSSELL LAID TO REST

The body of an Australian soldier killed in Afghanistan has been laid to rest.

25-year-old Lieutenant Michael Fussell was killed when he and his team were hit by a roadside bomb during a foot patrol.

Hundreds of friends joined family members in Armidale this morning to say their final farewells.

The emotional service remembered Michael as a loving and caring man who lived life to the full.
