MEDICAL STAFF WELCOME HOSPITAL UPGRADE

After enduring another winter of record patient numbers, medical staff at Port Macquarie Base Hospital have welcomed the news that the over-stretched facility will be expanded.

As we reported on the weekend the premier, Nathan Rees, has announced a $1.3-million upgrading of the hospital’s emergency department.
